… Well you’re in luck, Summer may have come and gone but this colourful Gower wedding is something I’ll remember for years to come.

Emotional Wedding Ceremony at The King Arthur Hotel

Now, I never hide how much I love shooting in the Gower, and especially The King Arthur Hotel. But, this venue for this particular couple was super special. Seren and Gareth first met while working behind the bar at this same wedding venue years before. Yes you read that right! It was so emotional watching them get married in the exact same room they met. What a full circle moment. I love all my couples wedding stories and this is definitely one I won’t forget in a hurry. It was like something out of a romantic comedy.

Green Hue Bridesmaid Dresses and Colourful Gower Wedding Flowers

As I’m sure you know by now, this girl loves a pop of colour. Those colourful flowers by The Witching Florist teamed with the green tones of the bridesmaid dresses, absolute swoon. I couldn’t love the styling more. It was perfect for this colourful Summer wedding in the Gower. Let’s not forget how dapper the guys looked in their tuxes too.

Fun wedding Entertainment

There was so much going on throughout the day, which I love. The more going on the better! There were garden games, drinks were flowing. During the drinks reception there was so much atmosphere because of the insanely talented musician Rhys Thomas John. It was a Summer wedding of fun, guests formed their own dance floor outside on the patio and danced under the sunshine celebrating this incredible couple.

The entertainment carried on throughout the day with a game of heads and tails being played after food. A game for every guest to play and get involved in, but the reaction to this game are hilarious and boy do I LOVE a candid shot. It really shows just how much fun everyone was having.

Golden Hour around the Gower

When I photograph at The King Arthur Hotel and we’re lucky enough to get golden hour, I tell all my couples let’s not venture too far. There are so many locations close by, that I like to do them all, the more variety the better.

The road, the pond and a stop off near Cefn Bryn to capture the last of the golden light is how I like to do end couples portraits. And this ending was simply magic. It really was the perfect ending to Seren and Gareth’s colourful Gower wedding. The exact same place they met as strangers and left as husband and wife. What a story, what a couple.
